Is high liver enzymes serious?

I just got my reports back, and my liver enzymes are high. My neighbor said it could be really serious, which has me quite scared. I want to know if high liver enzymes are always a serious issue or if it can be minor sometimes.

Honestly, it depends. I had high liver enzymes once after a heavy party week, doc said it was just my liver being overworked. But it can also be something serious. So yeah, get it checked by a proper doc, don't just chill.

My friend had high liver enzymes and freaked out, but it was just because of some meds she was taking. So it's not always super serious, but definitely means something is up with your liver. Better go see a doctor fast to figure it out.

Please don't take high liver enzymes lightly. I know someone who ignored it and it led to more severe liver issues later. It's your body giving you a signal. Go to a doctor right away to understand the cause and get treated. Early detection can prevent bigger problems.

High liver enzymes mean your liver is under some stress or inflammation. It could be due to many reasons, some minor and temporary, some more significant. It needs proper medical evaluation to find the root cause and ensure it doesn't lead to bigger problems. Take it seriously and get it investigated by a doctor.
