Is hfm contagious if no fever?

My son, he's just three, got these small rashes on his hands and feet, but no fever. His friend from playschool had HFM last week. I'm wondering if he could have it too, even without the fever.

My grandmother always said to be careful with any kind of rash or spots, fever or no fever. With HFM, even if there's no fever, the virus can still be present and contagious. Better to trust the doctor's advice and take precautions, especially around children.

My paediatrician mentioned that HFM (Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease) can indeed be contagious even in the absence of fever, particularly during the initial stages or if only mild symptoms like rashes are present. The virus spreads through saliva, blister fluid, and faeces. Good hygiene is critical.

Achha, beta, with these kinds of infections, it's always safer to assume it can spread. Even without fever, the virus is still there. We used to keep kids separate even if they just had a slight cough. Better safe than sorry, no? Ask your doctor for sure.

Even without fever, HFM can spread. It's crucial to be extra careful with food and hygiene. Ensure everyone washes hands thoroughly, especially before eating. Eating nutritious vegetarian food helps boost immunity, but hygiene is key to preventing spread.

Even if there's no fever, HFM can be contagious, especially if there are visible sores or rashes. Best to maintain good hand hygiene, avoid sharing things, and keep the affected person separate if possible. Simple precautions work best.

It's tricky, isn't it? Even without fever, the HFM virus can still be active and spread, especially from the blisters. We tried some gentle neem water washes for comfort, but for contagiousness, the doctor told us to isolate and keep hands super clean. Practical approach is best.

Don't trust everything you read online. For something like HFM, which can spread, you MUST verify contagiousness with a doctor. They will tell you the real picture, regardless of fever or no fever. It's a virus, it spreads.
