Is hepatitis c herpes?

I was looking up different types of infections and saw hepatitis C and herpes come up in similar searches. Are these two diseases related, or is hepatitis C a form of herpes?

No, they're completely different things! Hepatitis C affects the liver, and herpes is a viral infection that causes sores, usually oral or genital. Both are viruses, but that's where the similarity ends. It's good to clarify!

Haha, good question! But no, it's not the same. It's like asking if a mango is an apple. Both are fruits, but totally different. Hep C attacks your liver, herpes has other 'party tricks'.

Definitely not the same! I know a little about both from people I know. Hepatitis C is a liver virus, very different from herpes, which causes different types of outbreaks. Always get proper medical advice for these things, no home remedy for either.

No, not at all! I had Hepatitis C and it's a liver infection. Herpes is a different virus altogether, affecting skin/mucous membranes. Trust me, they are distinct health issues.
