Is hepatitis c blood borne pathogen?

My doctor was explaining something about infections and used the term 'blood-borne pathogen'. Is hepatitis C one of those blood-borne pathogens? Trying to be more aware of health risks.

Yes, Hepatitis C is absolutely a bloodborne pathogen. This means it spreads through contact with infected blood. Just like carefully managing my diet for diabetes, understanding how diseases spread is crucial for prevention. Be careful with needles and blood exposure.

Yup, it's a bloodborne bug! Not something you'd want to find in your favorite street food, thankfully. 😉 So, all about blood-to-blood contact, not through sharing a plate of golgappe!

Yes, 100%! I had Hepatitis C, and my doctors explained it's primarily transmitted through blood. So, sharing needles, unsterilized medical equipment, or transfusions are big risks. It was a learning experience for me to be extra cautious.
