Is hepatitis b only sexually transmitted?

I was reading about Hepatitis B and some sources mentioned it's sexually transmitted. Is that the only way someone can get Hepatitis B, or are there other ways to catch it? I want to be informed.

Nooo, girl, don't stress! It's not ONLY sexually transmitted. It can spread through other bodily fluids too, like blood. So, sharing needles or even from mother to baby during birth are also ways. It's not just one thing.

Haha, if it were only that simple! No, it's like a really bad houseguest that can get in through more than just the front door. Think blood, other fluids. So, not just the birds and the bees, but also needles and birth canal. 😉

From what my doctor explained, Hepatitis B isn't exclusively sexually transmitted. They mentioned it can also spread through blood, like from shared needles. I always prefer to get these details directly from a medical professional rather than making assumptions.

Oh, I see. So it's not just that one way. Does that mean it's common for babies to get it from their mothers too? I'm just trying to understand all the possibilities.

Hmm, this is definitely not something you catch from sharing a plate of biryani or a cup of chai, thankfully! But no, it's not only spread one way. Like a good meal, it has many ingredients, and for Hep B, those are blood and other fluids. So be mindful!

My health app's info on Hepatitis B clearly states it's transmitted through blood and other body fluids, not just sexual contact. This includes sharing needles, getting tattoos with unsterile equipment, or from mother to child. So, definitely not *only* sexually transmitted.
