Is hepatitis a virus or bacteria?

I heard someone say that hepatitis is caused by a virus, but then another person mentioned bacteria. For hepatitis A specifically, is it a virus or bacteria that causes it?

Ugh, another thing to worry about! But yeah, from what I remember from some late-night googling, Hepatitis is a virus. My brain is too tired to remember which type though. Just know it's not bacteria!

My friend had Hepatitis A a few years back, and doc said it's definitely a virus. It's not a bacterial thing. So, it needs different treatment, you know?

It's a virus. Please, if you're feeling unwell or have any symptoms, don't ignore it like I did with something else. Go to a doctor and get tested properly. Early detection makes a big difference for any illness.

Hepatitis is caused by viruses, not bacteria. There are multiple types of Hepatitis viruses, like A, B, C, D, and E, each affecting the liver. This distinction is crucial for diagnosis and treatment strategies.

Yaar, it's a virus, actually. Not bacteria. There are different types like A, B, C, but all are viral. It's important to know the difference because treatment and prevention also change.

Oh, that's a virus! That's why they always say be careful with street food, especially for Hepatitis A. No fun when your liver is inflamed, means no biryani for a while! So yeah, virus it is.

Listen, it's definitely a virus, not a bacteria. It's good you're asking to clear your doubts. Don't stress too much, just know that for any liver issue, consulting a good doctor is the most important step.
