Is hempz lotion good for eczema?

My skin has been really dry and itchy lately, especially on my hands. My friend told me about Hempz lotion and said it's good for sensitive skin. Does it actually help with eczema symptoms or should I look for something else?

I know how incredibly frustrating and anxiety-inducing it is when your skin is constantly itching and nothing seems to work. Hempz lotion is highly moisturizing, which can feel soothing, but eczema skin can be extremely sensitive to added fragrances. Please be gentle with yourself and try a small patch test first to make sure it doesn't trigger a flare-up.

I used to ignore my skin peeling and just apply random body lotions thinking it was dry skin, which made my eczema much worse. Don't make the same mistake of self-treating with cosmetic lotions. Go see a proper dermatologist who can give you targeted medicated ointments.

When I visited the dermatology department at Apollo, the doctor strictly told me to avoid heavily scented commercial lotions like Hempz for active eczema. They usually prescribe specific barrier creams that are fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. It is always better to show your skin to a specialist before buying expensive imported lotions.

Haan, moisturize toh achhe se karta hai, but eczema skin is very tricky na. Hempz products usually have a lot of perfume, which might irritate your skin further. Use a basic, doctor-prescribed moisturizer instead of these fancy scented ones to keep it safe.

I tried the original Hempz lotion because my friend recommended it for dry skin, but it burnt like crazy on my eczema patches. It has too much scent in it. Now I just stick to basic Cetaphil or whatever my dermatologist prescribes, which actually works without the irritation.
