Is heat good for muscle pain?

After my gym workout yesterday, my muscles are really aching today, especially in my legs. My mother always suggests a hot compress. Is applying heat a good idea for this kind of muscle soreness, or should I do something else?

My grandmother always suggests applying warm sesame oil followed by hot water bag fermentation for body aches. It works really well for muscle stiffness, but if you have a sprain or swelling, please check with a doctor first as heat can worsen inflammation.

Applying heat is very beneficial to relax stiff muscles, but make sure your diet has enough magnesium from nuts and seeds to prevent these cramps. Drink lots of water too, as muscle pain often comes from simple dehydration.

Yes, heat therapy is excellent for soothing stiff and aching muscles. However, avoid using heat if there is any visible swelling or red inflammation.

Haan na, thand ke mausam mein muscle pain ke liye garm pani se nahana sabse best hai, instant relief milta hai. But agar pain chronic hai toh direct doctor ke pas jao, self-treat mat karte baitho.

My son often gets bad calf pain after his football matches, and a warm water bath helps him recover quickly. Just make sure it is not a muscle tear or sudden swelling, where ice is actually required instead. Go to a doctor if the pain is severe.

Haa bhai, sardi-zukam ya thakan se jo badan dard hota hai usme garm paani ki sek bohot aaram deti hai. Par agar chot lagne se dard hai toh garm thaili mat lagana, pehle doctor babu se pooch lena.

I totally understand how stressful it is when your muscles hurt constantly and you start worrying if something is seriously wrong. Warm compress really helps in calming down the tight muscles and soothing your anxiety. Just take it easy and consult a physician if you are too concerned.

Bro, if you have gym soreness, a hot shower is the best recovery tool. But if you just pulled a muscle during a lift, do not use heat because it will swell up. Go with ice for the first 24 hours.
