Is heart failure the same as heart attack?

Someone in my family has heart failure, and I'm trying to understand it better. Is heart failure the same condition as a heart attack, or are there key differences?

Nahi na, they are different. Heart attack is when blood supply stops suddenly, and heart failure is when the heart gets tired and weak over time. People get confused because both sound similar, ho na.

Man, medical terms are confusing when you haven't slept! But no, they are different. Heart attack is a sudden blockage, while heart failure is a slow, tired pump. Both need a doctor's immediate attention though.

My father always told me that a heart attack is sudden while heart failure is a gradual weakness. Still, I always recommend consulting a qualified cardiologist for any heart-related queries.

No, they are different. While a healthy diet and managing stress help prevent both, a sudden heart attack is an extreme emergency. Always go to the hospital immediately if you feel heavy pressure in your chest.
