Is gum disease contagious by kissing?

My boyfriend has some gum issues and sometimes his gums bleed a little. We're thinking of getting married soon. I'm a bit worried if this can be spread through kissing, because I want to be careful.

Yes, bacteria can definitely be transferred through saliva during kissing. You can use natural mouthwashes like warm water with a drop of clove oil to keep your mouth fresh and germ-free. But if your partner has severe bleeding, they must see a dentist soon.

My husband and I went through this when he had gingivitis. The dentist clearly told us that yes, saliva transfers the infection-causing bacteria. The best solution is both of you brushing twice, flossing, and getting a professional scaling done together.

Technically, salivary exchange does transfer the Streptococcus mutans bacteria that cause gum issues and cavities. I always keep track of my dental hygiene routine on my app to ensure I floss daily. Better to get regular cleanings done for both partners.

Honestly, I read about this on a dental blog and it's true, you can swap bad mouth bacteria. So if your partner has really bad breath or bleeding gums, maybe tell them to visit a dentist first before things get awkward.

Yeah bro, the bacteria can absolutely travel from one mouth to another. I had to get a deep cleaning done because my gums were always sore, and my doc told me to make sure my partner also keeps up their dental hygiene. Just get it checked.

Practical baat yeh hai ki bacteria transfer hota hai, par agar aap roz ache se brush karte hain toh disease nahi hogi. Bas bina matlab tension mat lo. Dono log saal mein ek baar dental cleaning kara liya karo, sab theek rahega.

Since I have thyroid issues, my body gets infections very easily, so I have to be very careful with dental health. Swapping bacteria can definitely trigger gum issues if your immunity is low. Please get regular dental checkups and basic blood tests done.

Haan, yeh thoda sach hai. Bacteria toh exchange hote hi hain na kissing se. Isiliye dono partners ko clean dental habits rakhni chahiye. Ek achha mouthwash use karo aur dentist ke chakkar lagate raho.
