Yes, green bananas have resistant starch which doesn't spike sugar like ripe ones. Just eat them in moderation.

In our home, we use raw banana or 'vazhakkai' quite often in dry curries. Elders always said it is better than ripe banana for health, but my husband's diabetologist told us to still monitor the portion size as it contains carbs. Best to check with your doctor once.

It is actually a great option and very cheap in the sabzi mandi. You can make raw banana stir-fry with very little oil and mustard seeds instead of eating potatoes. It satisfies the craving for starch without messing up your morning glucose readings.

Hey, don't stress too much about food rules! Green bananas are actually pretty safe because of the low glycemic index. Just enjoy some raw banana sabzi or baked chips occasionally, and you'll be totally fine.

I have high BP and keep a close eye on my diet alongside regular checkups. Raw banana is rich in potassium which is actually good for blood pressure too. Just make sure you get your HbA1c tested regularly to see how your overall food choices are reflecting.

Scientifically speaking, green bananas contain resistant starch which acts more like dietary fiber and improves insulin sensitivity. However, dietary needs vary significantly from person to person. It is always best to consult your endocrinologist or a clinical dietitian before making it a regular part of your meals.

Well, they taste nothing like the sweet yellow bananas we love, but the good news is they won't send your sugar levels to the moon! Think of them more like a healthy vegetable rather than a fruit. Just don't deep fry them into chips!

I have a busy schedule, so I steam raw bananas during my Sunday meal prep. It is a quick, low-GI carb option that I can toss into a stir-fry during the week. It keeps my energy levels steady, but keep an eye on portion sizes.
