Is grape nuts cereal good for diabetics?

My husband has diabetes, and we are always looking for breakfast options. We saw 'Grape-Nuts' cereal at the store, it looks quite plain. Is Grape-Nuts cereal good for diabetics, or should we avoid it?

Yeah, I tried Grape-Nuts because they have no added sugar and lots of fiber. But honestly, they are still very dense in carbs, so you have to watch the portion size. It didn't spike me too bad, but keep an eye on your meter.

Haan na, Grape-Nuts me fiber toh achha hota hai but quantity control karna padega. Packed cereals ko humesha thoda sambhal ke hi khana chahiye, sugar level badh sakta hai.

I have tried many foreign cereals over the years for my diabetes. Grape-Nuts are decent because they don't have those sweet syrups, but our traditional oats or daliya still feel much lighter on my stomach and sugar levels.

Honestly, they taste like eating gravel to me, haha! But they do have whole grains and low sugar, which is great for diabetes. If you can handle the plain taste without adding sugar or honey, go for it!

Yes, it has good fiber and low sugar, but make sure to measure the portion size as it is carb-heavy.
