Is foul smelling poop a sign of cancer?

My father recently started complaining about his poop smelling unusually bad and different from before. I read online that foul-smelling poop can sometimes be a sign of cancer. Should we be worried and get him checked immediately?

Hey, don't stress too much about this! Foul-smelling poop can be from so many things, like what you ate, some temporary infection, or just indigestion. It's usually not a big deal. But if it's persistent or comes with other symptoms, then yeah, see a doc, okay?

I totally get why you'd worry about something like this! Our minds always go to the worst-case scenario. But foul-smelling poop is often due to diet, medications, or some minor gut issue. However, if it's persistent or accompanied by other symptoms like blood or weight loss, please see a doctor for peace of mind.

Honestly, the smell of poop can vary a lot based on your diet, supplements, and gut bacteria. If it's just a strong smell, it's usually not concerning. But if you also notice changes in consistency, color, or blood, definitely get it checked by a doctor. Don't self-diagnose based on smell alone.

Na, not necessarily, yaar. Most of the time, foul-smelling poop is just because of something you ate ya thoda indigestion. But haan, if it's very bad and consistent, aur saath mein koi aur problem bhi ho, then get it checked by a doc. Zyada tension mat lo.

Foul-smelling stool can be due to various factors like diet, malabsorption, or infections, and is usually benign. While cancer can sometimes alter stool characteristics, it's typically accompanied by other symptoms like blood, weight loss, or persistent abdominal pain. For persistent or concerning changes, a prompt medical consultation is efficient and advised.
