Is flaxseed good for diabetes?

My father has diabetes, and we're always looking for food items that can help manage his sugar levels. I read somewhere that flaxseed is beneficial for diabetes. Can you tell me if it's safe and effective for him?

Yeah, I've heard from my nani that flaxseed is good for diabetes! She grinds it and adds it to everything, especially her atta. It's supposed to help regulate blood sugar because of the fiber. So, definitely a good natural addition, but check with a doctor too!

From my experience and understanding, flaxseed is indeed very beneficial. The high fiber content supports stable blood sugar, and the omega-3s are good for overall wellness. Combined with mindful eating and practices like pranayama, it can be a gentle aid for managing diabetes. Always listen to your body and your doctor's advice.

Dekho bhai, flaxseed is good. High fiber hota hai, isliye sugar control mein help karta hai. But don't think it's a magic cure. It's a supplement to your main treatment. Doctor jo bolta hai, woh suno, aur flaxseed bhi add kar sakte ho.

Yes, beti, flaxseed has been known to be helpful for sugar problems since a long time. My grandmother used to say. It helps with digestion and keeps the blood sugar steady. But remember, for diabetes, medicines are important, and home remedies like flaxseed should only be taken after consulting your doctor. Always be careful.

I've tried so many things for managing my health, and flaxseed is one of the remedies that genuinely makes a difference. For diabetes, the fiber helps a lot in preventing sugar spikes. I usually grind it fresh and add it to my curd or even my morning dal. It's a practical and effective addition, but always keep your doctor in the loop.
