Is feeling sick when hungry a sign of diabetes?

Lately, if I skip a meal or go too long without eating, I start feeling quite sick, almost like I'll throw up. My mother has type 2 diabetes. I'm wondering, is feeling sick when hungry a possible sign of diabetes?

It can be a bit confusing, but sometimes feeling sick when hungry, like lightheadedness or nausea, can be due to low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). This can happen in people with diabetes or even pre-diabetes. But don't jump to conclusions, just get it checked out to be safe.

Actually, if you feel sick when hungry, it often means your blood sugar has dropped too much. This can happen if you skip meals or eat too many refined carbs that cause a quick spike and then crash. Try to eat balanced meals with protein and fiber to keep your levels stable. Consult a doc if it's frequent.

Oh, same! Sometimes when I'm super hungry, I get nauseous or dizzy. My friends say it's just 'hangry' but it definitely feels more than that. I think it's a good idea to talk to a doctor about it, just to rule out anything serious. Staying hydrated helps me a little.

Don't self-diagnose based on vague symptoms, please. Feeling sick when hungry can be many things. Low blood sugar, yes, but also acidity or just general weakness. The internet will give you a million theories. Go see a doctor and get proper blood tests done. That's the only reliable way to know.

Haan, agar aisa regularly ho raha hai toh achha nahin hai. Try to not let yourself get *too* hungry. Keep some healthy snacks like fruits or nuts handy. But definitely mention it to your family doctor, they might suggest some basic tests to check your sugar levels.

Hey bestie, don't stress! Feeling sick when hungry sometimes happens to everyone, especially if you've gone too long without food. But if it's happening a lot or you're getting super shaky, then maybe just get a quick check-up from a doctor. Just to be safe, ya know?

I used to get really anxious and sick when hungry, thinking it was diabetes. But my doctor explained sometimes it's just my body reacting to low fuel. Eating small, frequent, balanced meals helped a lot. It *can* be a symptom, but it's not always diabetes, so don't panic first!

Yaar, actually, sometimes when I skip breakfast or lunch, I get proper dizzy and feel like puking. It's usually just my blood sugar dropping too low. But if it's happening very frequently, then definitely get it checked, could be something else only.

Feeling sick when hungry could indicate blood sugar imbalances. Along with consulting a doctor, ensuring you don't go long hours without food is crucial. Even a short 15-20 min brisk walk can help regulate blood sugar, but check with your doctor first if you have any health concerns.
