Is farting a sign of liver problems?

I've been experiencing a lot of gas and farting constantly for the past few weeks, which is unusual for me. My brother had some liver issues in the past, and I'm wondering if this could be related. Could excessive farting be a symptom of liver problems?

Bro, I had heavy gas and bloating for weeks and got scared it was my liver because of my weekend drinking. Turned out to be just bad acidity and lactose intolerance. But if your skin or eyes look yellow, go straight to a doctor.

With diabetes, digestion is often slow, which can cause excessive flatulence. While gas is usually just a dietary issue, a fatty liver can also affect digestion. It is always safer to get a liver function test (LFT) done during your routine checkups.

Don't spend thousands on expensive specialty doctors right away. Start with a basic liver function test (LFT) and ultrasound from a local budget lab, which costs around 1000 rupees. If the reports show any elevation, then plan to visit a specialist.

Haan, excessive gas to normal indigestion se bhi hota hai na, so immediately don't think it is liver damage. But if there is yellow color in eyes or pain on the right side of the stomach, then definitely see a doctor. Safety is most important.

Gas is usually just a lifestyle issue from sitting too long at your desk. But if you have other symptoms like dark urine, nausea, or right-sided stomach pain, don't ignore it. Book a quick liver function test online to get clear data.

My father had severe bloating which we thought was normal gas, but our hospital doctor diagnosed it as a liver issue after doing an ultrasound. Please don't ignore it if it is persistent. Go to a good physician and ask them to run proper liver tests.
