Is exercise good for liver?

I've been told I have a slightly fatty liver, and I'm trying to improve my diet. Does exercising regularly help in keeping the liver healthy, or is it more about diet control?

Yes, exercise is crucial for reversing fatty liver. High-intensity interval training or consistent moderate-intensity cardio helps burn visceral fat around the organs. Use a fitness tracker to keep your heart rate in the fat-burning zone for at least 150 minutes a week.

My ultrasound report showed Grade 1 fatty liver and I am so scared. My doctor suggested daily cardio, but does anyone else feel very tired initially when starting exercise with fatty liver? Please let me know how you all managed.

I panicked like crazy when I was diagnosed with a fatty liver during a routine health checkup. But don't worry, consistent brisk walking and a cleaner diet completely reversed it for me in six months. It is highly manageable if you stay active.

Look, if you sit in one place all day and eat oily food, your liver will obviously get sluggish. Exercise is the best medicine for liver health. Get up, walk for 45 minutes daily, cut down on alcohol and deep-fried stuff, and you will see the change.

Physical exercise is highly beneficial, but gentle yoga practices like Kapalbhati and Mandukasana are also excellent for stimulating abdominal organs. Combined with light walking, it helps improve overall digestion and relieves liver congestion naturally.

Yes, regular exercise helps reduce liver fat and inflammation. Just start with light activities and consult your doctor for a routine that suits your health level.

Fatty liver and insulin resistance go hand in hand. Exercise is great for both, but you must strictly avoid high-fructose corn syrup, sweets, and refined flour. If you don't control your sugar intake, exercise alone won't protect your liver.

My teenage son was diagnosed with early fatty liver due to junk food and gaming all day. We started going for cycling together every evening and restricted outside food. His liver enzymes came back to normal in four months, so stay positive and keep them active.

Staying active and drinking warm water with lemon helps detoxify the system naturally. But if you have persistent nausea, pain on the right side of your stomach, or yellow eyes, don't rely on home remedies. Go see a doctor immediately.

I successfully reversed my non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) through exercise. The trick is consistency, not intensity; even a daily 30-minute brisk walk helps burn liver triglycerides. Don't go for heavy weightlifting initially without consulting your physician.
