Is excedrin migraine allowed in japan?

I'm travelling to Japan next month and I always carry my Excedrin Migraine for my headaches, which can be severe. Does anyone know if Excedrin Migraine is allowed to be carried into Japan, or are there restrictions on certain medications there?

My son travels to Japan often for work. While basic painkillers are okay, Japan has very strict laws on import of medicines containing stimulants, so please check their official customs website or ask your doctor for an alternative.

Look, Japan customs is extremely strict about medications. Don't carry loose tablets; keep them in original packing with a doctor's prescription to avoid any issues at the airport.

When traveling, I am always careful about what I consume. Excedrin has caffeine and standard pain relievers, but since Japanese laws are unique, make sure you double-check their ingredients list before flying.

Honestly, the stress of checking whether your migraine medicine is legal in another country is enough to give you a migraine! Check with the embassy so you can actually sleep peacefully.

Don't stress too much about it, bro. Generally, small quantities of OTC Excedrin for personal use are fine, but just carry the doctor's note to be completely safe at customs.

Japan allows personal quantities of most OTC pain relievers containing acetaminophen and aspirin. Just make sure you are not carrying more than a 1-month supply as per their rules.

I always worry about getting a migraine during flights, so I get your concern. Excedrin is generally allowed for personal use up to a certain limit, so you'll be fine!

I traveled to Tokyo last year and carried Excedrin in my check-in baggage. I kept the prescription ready, but nobody questioned me since it was just one strip.

I was reading about this on a travel blog recently! Apparently, medicines with high amounts of pseudoephedrine are banned there, but Excedrin Migraine should be fine for personal use.

In our days, we carried simple paracetamol everywhere without any fuss. Times have changed, so just get a clear letter from your doctor before your journey.

Just like keeping my blood pressure medicines sorted for international travel, you need to check Japan's rules. Carry a proper prescription showing your daily dose.
