Is excedrin migraine a blood thinner?

My doctor prescribed me a blood thinner for a heart condition, and I also get migraines for which I take Excedrin Migraine. I'm wondering if Excedrin Migraine has any blood-thinning properties itself. Should I be concerned about taking both?

I just dealt with a major migraine phase last month. Excedrin has aspirin in it, which actually acts as a mild blood thinner, so be careful if you are scheduled for any surgery soon.

Just like keeping track of your thyroid hormones, it is vital to know how daily medicines affect your blood. Because of the aspirin content, Excedrin does have blood-thinning properties, so discuss this with your physician.

Yes, because of the aspirin inside it, it does thin your blood slightly! Just be careful if you get cuts easily. 👍

Yes, aspirin is one of the active ingredients in Excedrin, and it reduces platelet aggregation. If you are already on other anticoagulants, you must get your doctor's advice before taking it.

Bhaiya, isme jo aspirin dawa hoti hai na, woh khoon ko thoda patla karti hai. Isliye isko lene se pehle dactar saab se zaroor pooch lena chahiye.

Since it contains aspirin, it will thin your blood. If you are prone to heavy bleeding or taking other pain meds, consult your doctor quickly so you don't face any emergencies.

Aspirin in Excedrin does thin the blood, which can be risky for some. For minor headaches, try rubbing ginger paste on your forehead before taking strong pills.

Please be very careful as blood thinners can cause internal bleeding if misused. Always get a prescription from a registered doctor before starting medications like this.

If you are taking it daily, you might need regular blood clotting tests which can add up in cost. Better to ask your doctor for a cheaper, single-ingredient alternative.
