Is erythritol good for diabetics?

I'm trying to manage my blood sugar levels and looking for healthy alternatives to sugar. My nutritionist recommended erythritol, but I want to be sure. Is erythritol good for diabetics?

Yes, it is a very good sugar alternative. It has almost zero calories and doesn't cause insulin spikes. Just buy a pure brand without added dextrose or maltodextrin.

For someone who loves sweets, erythritol is a blessing for baking low-carb keto treats! It doesn't leave a bitter aftertaste like stevia sometimes does. Just don't go overboard or your stomach might complain.

Hey, don't stress too much about cutting out sweetness completely. Erythritol is a lifesaver for making diabetic-friendly desserts. Enjoy your treats in moderation!

Be cautious with artificial sweeteners if you have kidney or stomach issues. I had severe digestive distress after using erythritol frequently. It is best to check with your diabetologist before making it a daily habit.

I can only speak from what works for me. Replacing white sugar with erythritol helped me bring my HbA1c down from 8.2 to 6.5 over six months, alongside daily evening walks.

Sugar cravings are so hard to control, ho na. Erythritol is good because it satisfies the sweet tooth without increasing glucose. Try it in tea first.
