Is erectile dysfunction genetic?

My older brother and my father both have issues with ED. I'm starting to wonder if this runs in our family. Is erectile dysfunction something that can be genetic?

While there might be some minor genetic links, spending money on expensive DNA or genetic tests is not worth it. Focus on checking your blood sugar and thyroid levels first, which are much cheaper tests and often reveal the actual cause.

Hey buddy, don't stress too much about genetics. Most of the time it is just daily stress, lack of sleep, or anxiety. Just take care of your health and don't overthink it, okay?

Don't trust random articles on the internet claiming some gene is responsible for this. Go and speak to a certified urologist to get the facts. Most of these online genetic theories are just to sell unnecessary supplements.

For general health, daily yoga and deep breathing can improve blood circulation naturally. However, if the issue is persistent and you suspect an underlying physical cause, please consult a medical specialist.

Even if there is a family history of diabetes or heart disease that can cause ED, you must get a proper medical evaluation. It is always better to get things checked early by a doctor for your own safety.
