Is epsom salt good for psoriasis?

My psoriasis flare-ups have been bad lately, and the itching is constant. I saw online that epsom salt might provide some relief. Is it safe and effective for psoriasis?

In our times, we used natural oils like neem and coconut for dry skin scaling. Epsom salt can help remove the dead crust, but you must be very careful not to scrub hard. Do it gently and always apply pure oil afterward to lock the moisture.

Psoriasis makes us look like we are shedding skin like snakes anyway, so why not try some salt therapy! Jokes apart, it does help scale off the dry patches quite well. Just don't pickle yourself in the tub for hours, 15 minutes is more than enough.

Look, epsom salt only helps with scaling and itching, it is not a cure. Psoriasis is an autoimmune issue, so you need proper dermatological treatment. Use the salt bath as a supportive tool, but don't skip your main prescriptions.

Psoriasis treatments can get very expensive with all those specialized creams and doctor visits. Epsom salt is actually a very cheap way to get some relief at home without spending thousands. Buy it in bulk online, it costs much less than buying small fancy packets from local shops.

Hey! Warm baths with epsom salt are actually super relaxing and help soothe those itchy plaques 🛁 Just make sure the water isn't too hot because hot water steals all the moisture. Hope your skin feels better soon! ✨

Between office hours and travel, I barely get time for long bath routines. For my psoriasis, I just dissolve some epsom salt in a mug of warm water and pour it over my legs quickly during my morning shower. It is fast, practical, and still helps with the morning itchiness.
