Is eczema std?

Someone in my social circle mentioned having eczema, and then someone else made a strange comment about it. It got me thinking. Is eczema an STD, or is it a common skin condition not related to sexual contact?

Oh god, I panicked so badly when I first got red patches near my thighs and thought it was an STD. But when I visited the doc, he literally laughed and said it is just eczema. It is completely normal skin irritation, nothing sexual about it.

Eczema is not an STD at all, it is just an autoimmune-linked skin condition. Since I have thyroid, I get these skin flareups too because of hormonal issues. Get a routine blood test and see a general physician to be sure of the root cause.

Beta, in my sixty years I have seen many people in my family get eczema. It is definitely not an STD. It is just dry skin that acts up during seasonal changes, so don't let these thoughts trouble your mind.

Hey, I was searching this up for a friend recently. Eczema is 100% not an STD, it is just a chronic skin condition caused by genetics or allergies. Don't worry, you cannot catch it or give it to anyone sexually.

Haha, no way boss! Eczema is just your skin throwing a tantrum, not an STD. It just means your skin is thirsty for moisturizer, not that you caught something sketchy.

No yaar, eczema is actually just an allergic reaction. Mera brother also has it since childhood, toh STD ka toh sawaal hi nahi aata. Chill maaro, it is totally non-infectious.

It is not an STD. When my blood sugars are high, my skin gets very dry and eczema-like patches flare up. I have to manage my diet strictly and keep my sugar in control to keep my skin healthy.
