Is echogenic liver serious?
My father recently had an ultrasound and the report mentioned 'echogenic liver'. The doctor said he'd explain more later, but I'm quite worried. Is this a serious condition, or is it something common?

I was diagnosed with an echogenic liver on an ultrasound last year, which usually just means fatty liver. I panicked initially, but I managed to reverse it completely by cutting down on sugar, oily food, and walking daily. It is manageable if you make lifestyle changes.

Do not take too much tension, babu. Many people get this in their ultrasound report. Just reduce oily parathas and sweets, walk every morning, and consult a good doctor in your town.
I literally cried when I saw 'echogenic liver' on my report, thinking it was some terminal disease. But my physician reassured me it's very common and fully reversible Grade 1 fatty liver. Don't worry, just focus on diet and exercise.
