Is eating raw tomato good for diabetes?

My father has diabetes and someone suggested he eat raw tomatoes. Is eating raw tomato good for managing diabetes? I want to make sure I'm giving him correct advice, not just random suggestions.

Eating raw tomatoes is wonderful for our system, especially if you have high blood sugar. In my daily routine, I always have a small salad of raw tomato and cucumber before my afternoon breathing practices. It has a very cooling effect on the body and doesn't spike sugar levels at all.

Don't stress too much about raw tomatoes, they are actually very safe and healthy for diabetes. They have a very low glycemic index and are packed with good nutrients. Just wash them properly before eating, and you can easily make them a part of your daily meals without any worry.

Yes, raw tomatoes are quite good for diabetes. I often add them to my father's breakfast plate. They are light on the stomach and very healthy.

I have both high BP and borderline sugar, and my doctor highly recommends raw tomatoes for their potassium content. Along with eating such healthy veggies, make sure you go for regular walks and get your HbA1c checked every three months. Lifestyle changes make the real difference.
