Is eating liver good for the liver?

My brother recently had some issues with his liver and is now very careful about his diet. He heard that eating animal liver might actually be good for his own liver. Is there any truth to this or is it just a myth?

I was researching this because I was worried about my liver health. It has great vitamins like B12 which support liver function, but the high fat and cholesterol made me anxious, so I only eat a tiny bit now.

Liver contains choline and copper which are essential for liver pathways, according to my nutrition tracker. However, if you have fatty liver, eating too much organ meat can overload it, so balance is essential.

Yes, in moderation, liver provides key vitamins that support your liver, but don't overeat it.

I once ignored my digestive issues and kept eating heavy non-veg, which severely worsened my fatty liver. Please don't try to treat your liver by eating liver; get a proper LFT blood test done and consult a doctor first.

Honestly, if you have a busy life, relying on specific foods to cure liver issues is impractical. Just cut down on alcohol and junk, eat balanced meals, and let your body recover naturally.

Don't stress too much about these 'like heals like' theories. Eating liver provides good nutrients, but a simple, low-oil diet with plenty of water is what actually keeps your liver healthy.

Eating mutton kaleji is absolute heaven for taste buds! But if you are eating it thinking it is some magical medicine for your own liver, that is just an excuse to eat more gravy, let's be real.

My family always recommended liver fry for general health. However, my doctor explained that if there is already a liver condition, heavy organ meats can burden it further, so professional advice is always best.

Actually, it's a bit of a misconception, yaar. Eating liver won't automatically fix your liver health; in fact, too much vitamin A from it can load the liver. Keep it occasional.

Nutritious food like liver is good, but physical movement is what truly prevents fatty liver. Try to pair a clean diet with 30 minutes of daily brisk walking if your doctor permits.

Liver is a great source of micronutrients that aid metabolism, but it won't magically heal your liver. Focus on keeping your body fat percentage in check and exercising regularly to keep your liver clean.
