Is dry skin a sign of pregnancy?

I've been feeling a bit off lately, and my skin has become surprisingly dry and itchy, which is not normal for me. I'm wondering if these changes could be related to pregnancy, as I know hormone changes happen. Is dry skin a common sign of being pregnant?

Pregnancy me hormones change hote hain toh skin dry ho jati hai, ho na? I applied warm coconut oil daily and it helped a lot.

I got super dry patches on my face during my first month and panicked. It is completely normal due to the body stretching and hormone changes. It got much better in the second trimester!

Yes, totally! The body loses moisture as it diverts fluids to the baby. Use a very gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer and drink loads of water.

Your body is doing beautiful work creating a new life. Dryness is just a small physical adjustment. Nourish your skin with natural almond oil and stay positive.

While pregnancy hormones cause dry skin, please keep an eye on your blood sugar levels too. Gestational issues can also cause skin dryness, so get your routine prenatal tests done.
