Is dried cranberry good for kidney patients?

My father has kidney issues, and we're looking for healthy snacks for him. Someone suggested dried cranberries, but I'm not sure if they are okay for kidney patients. Could they cause any problems?

Haan ji, dried cranberries generally not so good for kidney patients. They have compounds jo thoda load daal sakte hain kidneys pe. Better to consult your doc na, before adding anything new to the diet.

For kidney patients, it's tricky. Cranberries are known for UTIs, but dried ones often have a lot of added sugar and also oxalates, which can be an issue for some kidney conditions. Definitely check with a nephrologist or dietitian before consuming.

Oh, a fellow foodie thinking about cranberries! While they are delicious, for kidney patients, it's usually better to be super cautious. They can be high in oxalates which is not good for kidney stone formation. Best to ask your doctor what's safe for your specific condition. Don't risk it for a craving!

My daughter had kidney issues, and the diet is very strict. We were advised to avoid dried cranberries because of the oxalate content, which can be bad for kidney stones. Also, check for added sugar. It's really crucial to follow a renal dietitian's advice closely for kidney patients.

Achha, dried cranberries for kidneys? Meri mummy ko bhi kidney issues the. Hum toh unko saaf mana karte the kuch bhi aisa khane se jo doc ne na bola ho. Better to be safe than sorry, especially with kidneys. Pucho doctor se pehle, life mein waise hi itna tension hai!
