Is dr bronner's soap good for eczema?

I've been struggling with eczema on my hands for a while now, and a friend suggested Dr. Bronner's soap. Does anyone know if Dr. Bronner's soap is good for eczema? I'm looking for something gentle.

Oh, I was actually looking into Dr. Bronner's for general cleaning, but then I wondered about sensitive skin too. For eczema, I'd be really hesitant because it's known to be quite strong and has fragrances. I think gentle, unscented products are usually recommended for eczema, right?

For skin conditions like eczema, what you put on your body is just as important as what you put inside. Dr. Bronner's can be very strong. I always advocate for gentle, natural ingredients, but specifically for eczema, you need to be very careful. Maybe something without strong essential oils? Always cross-check with a dermatologist, and consider how your diet might be affecting your skin too.

Having diabetes means I'm always cautious about skin integrity, as any issue can become complicated. For eczema, which is already an inflammatory condition, a strong soap like Dr. Bronner's with its high pH and essential oils might be counterproductive. It's better to opt for specialized, gentle, moisturizing cleansers suggested by a dermatologist to prevent further irritation.

Most Dr. Bronner's varieties are too harsh for eczema. Stick to pH-balanced, fragrance-free cleansers.

For something like eczema, you really have to be very, very careful. Dr. Bronner's soap is quite famous but it's very concentrated and can be drying. If you have eczema, it's best to get it checked by a dermatologist and use only what they recommend. Don't take chances with your skin.
