Is doctor sleep a sequel?

I just watched 'The Shining' and loved it. I heard there's another movie called 'Doctor Sleep'. Is 'Doctor Sleep' a sequel to 'The Shining' movie or a completely separate story?

Yes, it is! Doctor Sleep is the direct sequel to The Shining, both written by Stephen King. The movie adaptation of Doctor Sleep also continues from the Shining movie. If you liked the first one, you should definitely check this out!

Haan, it's definitely a sequel to The Shining. I recently watched it. After a long session at the gym, I like to relax with a good movie. Watching both in order is key to understanding the story completely. Good watch!

Yes, bhai, it's a sequel. It continues the story of Danny Torrance from The Shining. If you haven't seen The Shining yet, watch that first. Otherwise, the story won't make much sense. Simple as that.

Yes, it's a sequel! It's super interesting how they connect the original story. Sometimes after a long day of tracking my macros and hitting my step goal, I just want to zone out with a good movie series. This one's a good continuation.

Yes, Doctor Sleep is indeed the sequel to The Shining. It picks up with Danny Torrance's adult life. The novel was written by Stephen King in 2013, continuing the narrative from his 1977 novel. So in both literary and cinematic terms, it's a direct continuation. My doctor actually recommended reading to relax, and I enjoyed both books.

Yes, Doctor Sleep is the official sequel to Stephen King's The Shining. It follows an adult Danny Torrance. If you're a fan of King's work or the original film, it's a must-watch to understand Danny's journey and how he deals with his 'shining' ability later in life.

Haha, for a moment I thought you meant literally a doctor who sleeps! My mind went blank. But yes, Doctor Sleep is definitely the sequel to The Shining, both the book and the movie. No need to panic, it's a well-known fact. Enjoy watching!
