Is diabetes spreadable?

Someone at work was saying we should be careful around people with diabetes because it can spread, especially if they are not careful. This sounded wrong to me, like a myth. Is diabetes spreadable, or is it not contagious at all?

Ho na, bilkul nahin. Diabetes kisi ko touch karne se ya saath rehne se nahin phailta. Yeh toh body ka apna system hai jo kharab hota hai.

No, dear, diabetes is not something that spreads. My amma used to say it comes from 'too much worry and too much sweet' but the doctor explained it's genetic or lifestyle related. It's not like a cold.

I totally get why you might ask this, there's so much misunderstanding about diabetes. But no, it's not contagious. You can't catch it from someone. It's important for people to know this so they don't fear those who have it.

I go to Apollo for my checkups, and the doctors there are very clear. Diabetes is not an infectious disease, so it doesn't spread from person to person. If you're ever in doubt, always ask your own doctor directly, they can explain it best.

Arre yaar, bilkul nahin. Diabetes is not spreadable at all. It's actually a metabolic disorder, not an infection. So you can't get it from someone else. Don't worry about it.

Absolutely not. This is a common misconception, but diabetes is not contagious. I've had Type 2 for years, and it's not something you can pass to others. It's important to educate people so they don't stigmatize those with the condition.

I've been curious about this too, like if it runs in families, does that mean it's 'spread' somehow? But from what I've read and heard from doctors, it's not contagious. It's about genetics and habits, not infection.

OMG, no, it's not spreadable at all! Don't even stress about that. It's a condition that develops inside your body, not something you can catch like a cold. Just chill, it's not that kind of illness.

Definitely not spreadable. Think of it like a car engine problem, not a contagious virus. My health app frequently clarifies these myths. It's a metabolic condition, influenced by genetics and lifestyle. No need to worry about catching it.

I used to panic about this too when my dad was diagnosed, thinking 'what if I catch it?' But my doctor clearly said it's not contagious. It's totally normal to be around someone with diabetes. No need to worry at all, it's a common condition.

Haha, no, thank goodness! Imagine if it was! 😂 You can't catch diabetes like the flu. It's all about how your body processes sugar. So no need to worry about spreading it. Stay happy! ✨
