Is dexamethasone good for tooth pain?

I have terrible tooth pain since yesterday, it's unbearable. My family doctor suggested I take Dexamethasone for the swelling. Will it actually help with the pain, ya kuch aur lena padega?

Oh, tooth pain is the worst! For my son, the dentist only prescribed something specific, never mentioned dexamethasone. For any strong medicine like that, please consult a dentist or doctor first, especially if it's for a child. Don't self-medicate.

Tooth pain is terrible, I totally get it. I've tried clove oil and warm salt water rinses for temporary relief. But for strong pain or anything serious, you really need to see a dentist. Dexamethasone sounds like a heavy medicine, please be careful.

Unless your tooth pain is so severe you need a full body anti-inflammatory, I don't think dexamethasone is the go-to! Haha. Dentists exist for a reason, let them do their magic.

For mild toothaches, sometimes clove oil or warm salt water helps, but if the pain is severe or persistent, you absolutely need to see a dentist. Dexamethasone is a strong medicine, not a casual remedy. Please don't self-prescribe.

I had terrible tooth pain once, it literally affected my mood for days. It's so debilitating. But I went to the dentist and got a proper antibiotic and painkiller. Please don't take strong meds without a prescription, it's not worth the risk.

Beta, for tooth pain, garam paani mein namak daal ke kullu karte the hum log. Long-term relief ke liye toh vaidya ya dentist ko hi dikhana padega. Ye badi medicines bina doctor se pooche nahi leni chahiye.

That's a steroid, generally used for inflammation. While tooth pain often involves inflammation, it's a specific medication that should only be prescribed by a doctor after proper diagnosis. I'd track my symptoms and consult a dentist quickly.

Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid, not a simple painkiller. Using it without a doctor's proper diagnosis and prescription for tooth pain can have serious side effects. Always verify such strong medications with a medical professional, never trust unverified claims.

Oh god, tooth pain. The absolute worst. My personal remedy is usually calling my dentist and begging for an emergency appointment. Seriously, don't mess with steroids unless a proper doc tells you to. They're not like paracetamol.

Hey, tooth pain can be super annoying! But dexamethasone is quite strong, generally used for inflammation, not just any pain. It's really important to see a dentist to figure out the actual cause and get the right medicine. Hope you feel better soon!
