Is dettol soap good for psoriasis?

My psoriasis flares up sometimes, and my skin feels very itchy. My neighbor told me to use Dettol soap because it's antiseptic. Can it help with psoriasis or will it make it worse?

Hey! Dettol soap might be too harsh for psoriasis. It's an antiseptic, but for sensitive skin conditions like psoriasis, you need something very gentle and moisturizing. Please check with your dermatologist, they can recommend specific soaps or cleansers.

I know how frustrating skin conditions can be, I've tried so many things! But Dettol is probably not the answer for psoriasis, it might sting. Please, see a dermatologist, they will guide you properly. Don't suffer unnecessarily.

Haan ji, Dettol toh bohot strong hota hai. Psoriasis mein delicate skin hoti hai na, toh better hai doctor se poochho. Normal soap bhi kabhi kabhi theek nahi hota. Kuch mild aur moisturizing use karo.

I don't have psoriasis, but I find Dettol soap can be quite drying even for normal skin. For any skin condition, I'd personally be very careful and only use what a doctor recommends.

Absolutely not. Dettol is an antiseptic and can be very irritating for sensitive skin, especially with psoriasis. You must consult a doctor before putting anything on it. Safety first, always.

Nah man, Dettol is too strong for anything sensitive like that. My friend used it for acne and it dried his skin out bad. Psoriasis needs very specific care, don't experiment with regular soaps.

While I focus on diet for internal health, for skin conditions, external care is equally important. Dettol could be too drying and harsh. Look for gentle, fragrance-free options designed for sensitive skin, but truly, a doctor's opinion is essential here.

For psoriasis, you need specific medicinal soaps or lotions that a skin doctor recommends. Dettol is for cuts and cleaning, not for a skin condition like that. Simple and clear, get proper medical advice.

From what I understand, psoriasis requires a specific approach, and Dettol, being quite strong, could potentially irritate the skin further. It's always best to consult a skin specialist for personalized advice and proper treatment.

Focus on diet and hydration for overall skin health, but for specific conditions like psoriasis, definitely consult a dermatologist. Dettol is more for general hygiene, not therapeutic skin conditions.
