Is dandruff shampoo clarifying?

I use clarifying shampoos sometimes to remove product buildup from my hair. Can a dandruff shampoo also act as a clarifying shampoo, or are they different types?

Generally, yes, a lot of them can be clarifying. They remove the build-up of oil and flakes from your scalp, which is similar to what a clarifying shampoo does. My mother always said to keep the scalp clean. But if you have very sensitive hair, maybe alternate with a gentle shampoo, or ask your dermatologist.

Haan, most anti-dandruff shampoos clear out all the gunk. That's how they work, by getting rid of the excess oil and dead skin cells where the fungus thrives. So consider it a clarifying shampoo with an added bonus for your scalp. Bas, don't use it everyday if your hair feels too dry.

Haan, beti, woh saaf karte hain achhe se. Dandruff hatane ke liye jo tel aur mail jama hota hai, usko nikaal dete hain. Toh baal aur scalp dono halka feel karte hain. Bas, zyada dry na kare, uska dhyaan rakhna.
