Is creatine bad for your kidneys or liver?

Been hitting the gym consistently for a few months now, and my trainer suggested adding creatine. But my uncle, who's always giving health gyaan, warned me that it can mess with my kidneys and liver. Is there any truth to this?

At Apollo Hospital, my brother's physician clearly advised that while creatine is safe for healthy people, anyone with pre-existing kidney or liver issues must strictly avoid it. Please get your kidney function tests (KFT) done and consult your doctor.

I track all my health vitals and take creatine daily. For healthy adults, countless studies show it doesn't harm kidneys or liver. Just ensure you log at least 3-4 liters of water daily on your tracker to help your kidneys process it smoothly.

In healthy individuals, standard doses of creatine do not cause renal or hepatic damage. However, because it raises serum creatinine levels, it can mimic kidney issues on lab reports. Consulting a medical professional prior to supplementation is always best.

It is completely safe for healthy kidneys and liver, but please make sure you drink plenty of water daily.

Honestly, I am barely keeping my eyes open, but from all the gym research I did, creatine won't destroy your organs unless you already have issues or drink zero water. Just chug water like your life depends on it and you'll be fine.
