Is cranberry juice good for your kidney?

My mother always tells me to drink cranberry juice whenever I feel a slight burning sensation, saying it's good for the kidneys. I do get UTIs often. Is cranberry juice generally considered good for kidney health?

In our family, we usually drink tender coconut water or buttermilk for overall kidney comfort. Cranberry juice is okay, but my doctor advised that it mostly helps in preventing bladder infections rather than curing any major kidney issues. If you have any specific pain, please get it checked by a specialist.

I am also trying to learn about kidney health because my uncle has some issues. I heard cranberry juice is good, but is the packaged one from supermarkets safe to drink daily, or does it have too much sugar? If anyone knows, please guide me.

Cranberry juice is quite refreshing, but honestly, those sweet juices from the store are loaded with sugar. For actual kidney health, sugar is not a great friend. If you want something tasty and healthy, fresh lemon water without sugar is a much safer bet.

For keeping your urinary tract and kidneys clean, nothing beats drinking pure, clean water throughout the day. You can also try drinking water boiled with coriander seeds once a day. Cranberry juice is okay occasionally, but don't treat it as a primary medicine.

Actually, cranberry juice is mostly just hyped for UTI prevention, yaar. It doesn't really do anything major for your actual kidneys. If you are worried about your kidney health, just get a simple LFT/KFT package done from a good lab.
