Please don't take kidney health lightly or try to self-diagnose based on foods like corn. I once ignored minor swelling in my feet, thinking it was just fatigue, and it turned out to be early stage kidney trouble. Get a proper kidney function test done first.

Actually, corn has a decent amount of phosphorus and potassium, yaar. If you have any kidney issues, high phosphorus is not good for you. For normal people it is fine, but definitely check with a doc if there is a medical condition.

Dekho, simple baat hai. Agar kidney bilkul theek hai, toh thoda corn khane mein koi burai nahi hai. Lekin agar doctor ne kidney ki bimari batayi hai, toh bina unse pooche aisi cheezein mat khao kyunki isme potassium hota hai.

Instead of worrying about specific foods like corn, it is better to drink enough plain water and limit packed salty snacks which damage kidneys the most. Keep your diet simple and get a routine blood and urine test once a year.

For healthy individuals, corn is perfectly fine and provides good fiber. However, if there is any underlying renal issue, foods high in phosphorus and potassium like corn must be restricted. It is always wise to follow the specific diet chart given by your nephrologist.

When my uncle was admitted to Aster Medcity, the clinical nutritionists told us that kidney diets are highly personalized. Some patients need to restrict corn due to its phosphorus content, while others can have it. Please consult your supervising doctor for a clear answer.
