Is collarbone pain a sign of heart attack?

Last night I had a strange pain in my left collarbone area, and my neighbour, an elderly lady, immediately got worried and said it could be a heart attack. Is collarbone pain really a symptom of something so serious?

I have PCOS and often get weird muscle aches that make me anxious, but we have to be very careful. If your collarbone pain is accompanied by pressure in the chest, sweating, or pain going down your arm, please don't wait. It is always better to get medical help immediately.

Sometimes collarbone pain is just from sleeping wrong or carrying heavy bags, but heart matters are serious. Please don't take any risk if you are feeling uneasy. Go to the nearest clinic or hospital right now and let them check your BP and heart.

I usually try warm mustard oil massages or ginger tea for minor joint and bone pains. But if this collarbone pain is sudden, very sharp, or feels like a heavy weight on your chest, no home remedy will help. Please go straight to an emergency room to be safe.

Collarbone pain on its own is often orthopedic, but referred chest pain can present in unusual ways. If you are also experiencing shortness of breath, dizziness, cold sweats, or nausea, these are red flags. Please seek urgent medical attention rather than reading online.

When it comes to any pain near the chest, shoulder, or collarbone, you should absolutely never take a chance. It could be muscular, but it can also be a warning sign of a cardiac issue. Please go to a hospital emergency department immediately to get evaluated.

My father always says that any pain above the chest should never be ignored, as it can sometimes be referred pain from the heart. While it could just be a simple muscle strain, a proper ECG at a clinic is the only way to be 100% sure. Please consult a doctor immediately.
