Is chia good for diabetics?

My doctor recently told me my blood sugar is a bit high, and I need to watch my diet. Someone at the office suggested I try chia seeds. Just wondering if chia is actually good for people like me with diabetes, or if it's just another fad.

Honestly, pehle toh I used to panic about every new food item with my diabetes. But then I read up a lot and spoke to my doc. Chia seeds are actually quite good for diabetics, they help regulate blood sugar because of the fiber. Just make sure to soak them first.

Buying healthy food can sometimes feel expensive, but chia seeds, if bought in bulk, are quite cost-effective for the benefits. For diabetics, every bit of fiber helps save on future medical costs from complications. It's a small investment with good returns for health.

Haan ji, chia seeds toh acchi hoti hain diabetics ke liye. Fiber bohot hota hai inme. Subah oats mein ya dahi mein daal ke kha sakte ho. Bas jyada bhi na khana, moderation is key!

Meri thyroid ki problem hai, so I know how important diet is. Chia seeds are generally fine, but everyone's body reacts differently. Always best to check with your endocrinologist or family doctor, especially if you have other health conditions. Regular check-ups are a must!

My doctor specifically recommended chia seeds for my dad who is diabetic. He said they're high in fiber and omega-3s, which are beneficial for blood sugar control and heart health. Just make sure to drink enough water when you consume them, as they absorb a lot of liquid.
