Is cervical cancer only caused by hpv?

I'm trying to understand more about cervical cancer prevention. I know HPV is a big cause, but is cervical cancer only caused by HPV, or are there other factors involved too?

Mostly haan, it's strongly linked to HPV, ho na. Like, 99% cases are because of it, I read somewhere. But there can be other risk factors also, like smoking or a weak immune system, but HPV is the main culprit, for sure.

Haan, mostly it is because of HPV only. Bahut kam cases hote hain jo HPV se nahi hote. That's why they recommend the HPV vaccine na. It's a big step towards prevention. But still, other lifestyle factors also play a small role.

I'm new to knowing about this, but I've heard HPV is the main cause. Are there any other really rare causes too, or is it almost always HPV? It makes me a bit worried, so trying to understand better.

Earlier I also panicked thinking about all causes, but turns out HPV is the primary one, like 9 out of 10 times. Knowing this actually made me feel a bit relieved because it's a specific virus and there's a vaccine. Don't stress too much, it's mostly HPV.

Yeah, bro, mostly HPV only. My friend's sister was talking about this. It's like, the biggest reason. So if you prevent HPV, you're pretty much covered for cervical cancer. That's what I gathered anyway.

Yes, pretty much. Cervical cancer is overwhelmingly caused by persistent infection with high-risk types of HPV. While other co-factors can increase risk, HPV is almost universally present in cervical cancer cases. So, focus on prevention and screening for HPV.

I totally get why you're asking this, it's good to understand the root cause. Yes, for cervical cancer, HPV is considered the main cause, responsible for nearly all cases. It's rare for it to develop without HPV infection. That's why awareness about HPV and vaccination is crucial.
