Is carpal tunnel a form of arthritis?

My wrist has been really hurting lately, and my fingers feel tingly sometimes. My daughter said it sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome. Is carpal tunnel a type of arthritis?

I am not very sure about this, but I keep getting this weird tingling in my wrist while typing. Is that what carpal tunnel feels like, or could it be joint pain? If anyone has gone to a doctor for this, please let me know.

Nahi bhaiya, ye arthritis nahi hai. Humare padosi ko bhi hath me ye takleef thi, doctor ne bola ki nas dabne ki wajah se dard hota hai. Aap thoda garam paani se sek lo aur jada bhari saman mat uthao.

Hey, don't worry, they are actually two completely different things. Carpal tunnel is just a squeezed nerve in your wrist, while arthritis affects the actual joints. Just give your hand some rest, do some light wrist stretches, and if the pain stays, we will get it checked by a doctor, okay?

Actually no, carpal tunnel is about a pinched nerve in the wrist, not joint inflammation. It is best to rest your hand and use an ergonomic mouse if you work on a computer all day.

Chill karo yaar, your joints aren't rusting yet! Carpal tunnel is just your wrist complaining because you spend 8 hours scrolling or typing. Keep your phone down for a bit and your hand will thank you.
