Is cancer in the bones terminal?

My neighbour's husband has cancer that has spread to his bones, and his family is very distressed. I overheard someone saying it's 'terminal' if it reaches the bones. Is cancer in the bones always considered terminal, or is there still hope?

It is a very painful and difficult situation, and my heart goes out to whoever is facing this. It is not always terminal; many advanced treatments, chemotherapy, and surgeries help people live for a long time. Home remedies can only help with basic comfort, so trust the specialists completely here.

Man, it's 3 AM and reading these heavy questions is not helping my sleep. But honestly, bone cancer survival depends completely on the stage and whether it started in the bone or spread from somewhere else. Don't read scary articles online, talk to an oncologist directly.

I manage my diabetes strictly with diet, but cancer is a completely different ballgame that needs heavy medical intervention. Bone cancer prognosis depends entirely on the specific type and stage. It is not automatic that it's terminal, so please consult a highly experienced oncologist.

Humare yahan bhi ek padosi ko haddi ka cancer tha, unka ilaaj bade shehar ke hospital se chala aur woh ab thik hain. Bilkul darna nahi chahiye, aaj kal ki dawaiyan bahut asar karti hain. Bhagwan pe bharosa rakhein aur doctor ki salah lein.

I have seen many discussions on this forum about bone cancer. It can be primary bone cancer or secondary metastasis, and both have completely different treatment paths. Many patients manage it for years with proper therapy, so keep your spirits high and discuss all options with your doctor.

My father went through secondary bone cancer a few years ago. It is extremely challenging, but with modern targeted therapies and radiation, doctors can control the spread and manage pain very effectively. Please don't lose hope, focus heavily on palliative care and pain management plans.
