Cabbage is very beneficial for health as it is low in sugar and high in fiber. In our times, we used to have light, home-cooked cabbage subji with very little oil. It keeps the stomach full and helps in naturally managing sugar levels alongside your doctor's medicines.

I was diagnosed with borderline diabetes recently and heavily changed my diet. Cabbage has been a lifesaver for me because it has almost zero effect on my blood sugar. I eat it raw in salads or lightly steamed, and my post-meal numbers have stayed very stable.

I read that cabbage is great for diabetics because of its low glycemic index. But does anyone else feel extremely bloated or get gas after eating it? I want to eat it regularly for my sugar but the bloating makes me so nervous.

Honestly, I'm too tired managing my baby and my sugar levels to cook fancy meals, so I just chop some cabbage and saute it quickly. It is cheap, low-carb, and doesn't spike my blood sugar. Perfect for when you have zero energy to plan a diet.

Cabbage is highly recommended for diabetics due to its high fiber and antioxidant content, which can improve insulin sensitivity. However, since thyroid issues sometimes coexist with diabetes, you should consult your doctor as raw cabbage can affect thyroid function.

At 55, my doctor told me to cut down on my beloved rice and eat veggies like cabbage. It actually works wonders for diabetes, even if it feels like you're eating grass sometimes. Well, at least my fasting sugar is happy now.

I used to ignore my high sugar and eat whatever I wanted, which landed me in the hospital. Now I strictly eat low-carb vegetables like cabbage to manage my health. Please don't ignore your diet, get your HbA1c checked regularly and eat right before it gets worse.

Managing insulin resistance with PCOS is so tough, and I find cabbage to be a very helpful, low-glycemic vegetable. It doesn't cause sudden sugar spikes for me. Just try a small portion first to see if your stomach handles it well.

Patta gobhi hamare yahan khoob hoti hai aur sugar ke bimar logon ke liye yeh bohot achhi mani jati hai. Isko halka sa paka kar khane se sharir ko taqat milti hai aur khoon me chini bhi nahi badhti. Aap zaroor khaya karein.

Haan, patta gobhi toh diabetes walon ke liye bohot badhiya hai. Isme fiber achha hota hai na toh pet jaldi bhar jata hai aur sugar bhi control me rehti hai. Bas isko zyada oily mat banana, simple boiled ya salad ki tarah khao.
