My brother has diabetes and his diet is quite restricted. We want to make sure he gets enough variety. Is butternut squash okay for diabetics to eat regularly?

Dekho, limit me khaoge toh sab theek hai. It has carbs, but the fiber is good so it won't spike your sugar instantly like white rice. Just keep the portion small and don't eat it daily without checking your sugar levels.

Butternut squash has a moderate glycemic index, so it can be included in a diabetic diet in moderation. However, your individual response depends on your overall lifestyle and medication. It's best to consult your endocrinologist or a certified diabetes educator to be sure.

It is actually rich in vitamins and fiber which is great, but yes, it does contain natural sugars. I always tell people to pair it with some protein like paneer or chicken to slow down glucose absorption. Just monitor your blood sugar two hours after eating it.

Haan, sugar patients thoda bohot kha sakte hain, koi nuksan nahi hai agar limit me ho toh. Isme fiber achha hota hai na toh sugar dheere dheere release hoti hai. Bas iski mithi puda ya heavy halwa banakar mat khana.

I completely understand the stress of checking every single ingredient before taking a bite, it used to give me so much anxiety. When I first wanted to try butternut squash, I was terrified of a spike. But eating a small portion alongside my green salad worked out totally fine.
