Is borax good for arthritis?

My mother-in-law has really bad arthritis in her hands and keeps trying different remedies. Someone recently told her that borax can help. Is borax good for arthritis, or could it be harmful?

Oh, this sounds like a serious home remedy. For conditions like PCOS, I've learned to be very cautious about what I put into my body. Borax is a chemical used in cleaning, not usually recommended for consumption. Please, for arthritis pain, consult a rheumatologist. Trying unproven and potentially harmful substances could make things much worse.

Okay, let's be very clear about this. Borax is a chemical used in cleaning products and as an insecticide. It is NOT safe for human consumption and definitely not a recommended treatment for arthritis. Ingesting borax can be toxic and lead to serious health problems. Please, for your health and safety, consult a medical professional for arthritis treatment.

This sounds very dangerous. As someone who has to carefully manage my high BP and medications, I know how important it is to only take what is medically prescribed or proven safe. Borax is a cleaning agent, not medicine. Please, do not consider using it for arthritis. See a rheumatologist; they will give you proper treatment and advice. Your health is precious.

Such matters of health need careful attention. While I believe in nature's healing, borax is a chemical, not a natural remedy for the body. For arthritis, please seek guidance from a doctor. Stay positive, keep your mind calm, and nurture your body with safe practices. Taking care of oneself is a sacred duty.
