Is bone broth good for diabetics?

My doctor recently diagnosed me with diabetes, and I'm trying to make big changes to my diet. I heard some people say bone broth is good for overall health. Can a diabetic person include it in their diet without any issues?

Listen, diabetes is serious, don't take risks with diet changes without knowing how it affects your sugar levels. I once thought a certain food was healthy and my sugars went haywire. Please consult your doctor or a dietician first before adding anything new like bone broth.

My son has Type 1 diabetes, so we're very careful with everything he eats. Bone broth is generally low-carb, which is good. But the sodium content can be an issue, and also watch out for any added ingredients. Best to make it homemade and check with a doctor specializing in diabetes for proper guidance.

Beta, when I was diagnosed, everything felt so confusing. What to eat, what not to eat. Bone broth is a traditional remedy for many. It has good protein. For diabetes, the main thing is balance and watching portions. Try a small amount and see how you feel, but always tell your doctor about any new foods you add.

Generally, bone broth is considered low glycemic, which means it shouldn't spike your sugar levels. It's rich in amino acids too. But if you're diabetic, you HAVE to monitor your blood sugar after introducing any new food item. Also, be mindful of sodium if you have blood pressure issues too, which is common with diabetes.

As a vegetarian, I haven't tried bone broth, but from what I understand, it's low in carbs and has protein. However, for diabetics, controlling blood sugar is key. It's always best to check nutritional info and discuss with a doctor, especially since everyone's body reacts differently to foods.

Dekho bhai, bone broth agar ghar pe banaya hai, simple ingredients se, toh generally theek hona chahiye. Protein aur minerals milte hain. Par diabetes mein sabse important hai regular monitoring aur doctor ki advice. Koi bhi cheez akele solution nahi hai, part of a balanced diet hi hoti hai.

Oh, bone broth is so comforting! 💖 For diabetics, it's low in sugar and has protein, which is good. But always check with your doc or a nutritionist, okay? Every body is different! 😊

I'm pre-diabetic and thinking of trying bone broth for other benefits. But I'm so worried about my sugar levels. Has anyone here with diabetes actually tried it and checked their blood sugar after? Did it cause any spikes or drops? Just looking for some real-life experiences.

Humein toh ghar pe garma garam yahi sab pilaate hain jab tabiyat kharab hoti hai. Protein hai isme. Diabetes ke liye, jo bhi khao dhyan se khao, zyada meetha na ho, doctor se pooch kar. Mana nahi hai par dhyan rakhna padega.

Mmm, bone broth can be quite tasty, especially with a little ginger and garlic! If it helps manage blood sugar and satisfies a craving without adding extra carbs, that's a win-win, no? Just make sure it's not loaded with hidden salt or weird preservatives if you're buying it.

I get so stressed about food choices with health conditions! Bone broth *seems* good because it's usually low-carb. But I'd be paranoid about hidden sugars or high sodium if it's not made carefully at home. Please talk to an endocrinologist first to be absolutely safe, they know best for diabetes.

My doctor actually recommended it for my pre-diabetes, saying it can help with gut health which indirectly supports blood sugar regulation. She emphasized making it without added salt or spices, just plain slow-cooked bones. Always check your glucose levels before and after adding it to your diet to see your body's specific response.

Oh, this is an interesting question! I've been seeing a lot about bone broth lately for various health things. For diabetics, I guess it comes down to what's in it and if it's homemade versus store-bought. Sounds like checking with a doctor is the unanimous advice here.

Haan, log bolte hain ismein protein aur collagen hota hai, jo body ke liye achha hai. Par diabetes mein, na, har cheez apne doctor se pooch ke hi karni chahiye. Kya pata kisko suit kare, kisko na kare. Better safe than sorry!
