For diabetes, it is all about moderation, beta. Aloo (potato) is a carbohydrate. If you boil it and eat a small quantity, it is better than fried. But it can still raise blood sugar. In our times, people with sugar used to avoid such things. Always better to consult your doctor, don't rely on old advice completely.

Boiled potato? Nah, not really the best for diabetics. It has a high glycemic index, meaning it can spike blood sugar pretty fast. My grandpa has diabetes, and his doc told him to minimize potatoes and switch to things like sweet potato in small amounts. Better to avoid if you can, or have very little.

At a good hospital, for diabetes management, they always emphasize being careful with starchy vegetables like potatoes. While boiling is better than frying, potatoes still have a high glycemic index. It's crucial to ask your diabetologist or a dietician for personalized advice, taking into account your specific blood sugar levels and medication. Don't make assumptions based on general info.

Don't fall for internet advice on things like this. Boiled potato, while plain, is still a starchy carb and can definitely impact blood sugar levels for a diabetic. It's not a 'good' food per se for managing diabetes. Always, always verify dietary advice with your endocrinologist or a certified dietician. Your health isn't something to experiment with.

I totally get that feeling of 'what can I even eat?' when dealing with diabetes! Boiled potatoes can be tricky. They have a high glycemic index, meaning they can raise blood sugar quite quickly. So, while not inherently 'bad', they might not be the best choice and should be eaten in very small, controlled portions. Always good to discuss with your doctor or a dietician.

For diabetics, managing diet is crucial. Potatoes can be problematic due to carbs. It might be better to opt for cheaper, lower-carb alternatives like gourds or greens which are readily available and won't spike your sugar, saving you money on future medical tests. Planning meals smartly can save a lot in the long run.
