Is blurry vision a sign of a stroke?

My father experienced sudden blurry vision for a few minutes yesterday. He is generally healthy, but we are concerned about strokes running in the family. Is this something to worry about?

Yes, sudden blurry vision, especially if it's in one eye or accompanied by other symptoms like sudden weakness or trouble speaking, can be a sign of a stroke. It's one of the 'FAST' indicators. If you experience this, don't wait; get to an emergency room immediately. Time is critical for stroke treatment.

If you're experiencing sudden blurry vision, especially with other symptoms like weakness or confusion, you don't come to an internet forum. This is a medical emergency. Call emergency services or go to the hospital immediately. Trust actual doctors for stroke symptoms, not online opinions.

I heard blurry vision can be a sign of a stroke and it makes me so anxious! I sometimes get blurry vision when I'm really tired, but how do you know if it's serious or just fatigue? Has anyone here experienced sudden, really bad blurry vision and what did you do?
