Is blood cancer and leukemia the same?

My neighbour was diagnosed with leukemia, and it got me thinking. I've always heard about blood cancer, so I wanted to ask, is blood cancer and leukemia the same thing, or are they different conditions?

I'm no doctor, so I can't give medical advice. But from what I understand, leukemia is a *type* of blood cancer. There are also other types. Please confirm with a specialist.

It's completely understandable to be confused and anxious when dealing with such serious medical terms. From what I've learned, leukemia is one of the main types of blood cancer, but blood cancer is a broader term that includes other conditions too. Please speak to a doctor for accurate information.

Haan ji, leukemia blood cancer hi toh hota hai. Bas uske alag alag types hote hain, na? Blood cancer toh ek general term ho gaya. Doctors zyada ache se bata paenge aapko.

Leukemia is a type of blood cancer. So they are related but not entirely interchangeable.

For serious things like this, home remedies are not the answer at all. Yes, leukemia is a type of blood cancer. But blood cancer also includes lymphoma and myeloma. Please see a proper oncologist for diagnosis and treatment.

My child was diagnosed with leukemia, which is indeed a type of blood cancer. It affects the blood cells. There are different kinds of blood cancers, but leukemia is one of them. Please get a proper diagnosis from a specialist; they will explain everything clearly.
