Is bleeding after menopause always cancer?

I went through menopause a few years ago, and recently I've had some unexpected spotting. My neighbor scared me by saying any bleeding after menopause is always cancer. Is this true, or could it be something less serious?

My grandmother used to say that any changes after menopause should be seen with care. While bleeding can be a sign of many things, not just cancer, it is very important to get it checked by a doctor. Don't worry too much, but please don't delay a check-up.

Haha, if every bleed after menopause was cancer, half the population would be in trouble! No, yaar, it's not ALWAYS cancer. Sometimes it's just hormonal shifts or something simple. But yeah, let a doctor decide, they're the experts, not us internet janta.

Any new bleeding after menopause needs attention. While you wait for your doctor's appointment, try to keep up with your walks or light exercise if you feel up to it; it helps with overall well-being. But definitely, a medical professional is the only one who can diagnose this correctly.

Oh, I totally get it, any unexpected bleeding can be really scary and make you think the worst. It's natural to be worried. But it's not always cancer, there can be other reasons too like uterine polyps or thinning of the uterine lining. Please see a gynaecologist soon for peace of mind.

No, it's not always cancer, behna. There can be other reasons for bleeding after menopause, some of them not serious at all. But because it could be something serious, you absolutely must get it checked by a doctor. Don't worry, but do take action.
